As AP’s first head of digital + social video, I led a global team of producers, editors, and curators who drove record levels of engagement and video views both on-platform (site, app and newsletters) and off-platform (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn)

Some highlights:

  • Grew AP's YouTube channel by 1M subscribers year-over-year, in partnership with our global video team.

    • Livestream views and revenue increased by 10x and Shorts views also more than doubled in a year.

  • More than doubled the following of AP’s TikTok account YoY β€” becoming one of the fastest-growing news accounts, according to Press Gazette.

  • Featured 200+ journalists and experts in explainers across emerging platforms by partnering closely across desks (Health & Science, Politics, Sports, Entertainment)

  • Part of AP's B2C editorial leadership team, serving in on-site leadership roles including the 2024 Election and Paris Olympics.

  • Partnered with product, revenue and B2B stakeholders to make vertical video a new offering for AP clients and customers.

  • Received two Gramling Awards for digital and video transformation efforts β€” the highest internal honors within the institution
